FORGE Urban Revival making their coffee green

FORGE Urban /Revival is an art/café owned and managed by Wave-length CIC . A place that brings together wonderful artists, crafters, performers and great local food providers.

It is estimated that every day thousands of Britons put their coffee cup into a recycling bin and they are wrong to do so as most leading high street coffee chain cups are not recyclable and therefore set only for landfill.

FORGE Urban Revival has designed a smart, robust and most importantly re-usable coffee cup to combat this environmental challenge .   Ann Johnson the managing director of FORGE stated ‘having watched the BBC War on Waste programme I felt we needed to address the environmental issue of thousands of coffee cups entering landfill each day, so being a social enterprise we looked to provide an option that enables people to keep drinking great coffee but help the environment of Telford at the same-time. We are thrilled with the quality and design of our new FORGE take out cup which in turn helps reduce waste’

The FORGE take-out coffee cup can be purchased for just £3 filled with an award winning coffee of choice and then as long as you bring your FORGE coffee cup back into our art/cafe you can have a take-out refill from our wonderful coffee range for just £1 a time.

FORGE is based in currently in Wellington at 4 Crown Street and soon to open an additional venue in Oakengates. We are a social enterprise using our profits for purpose by investing into community cohesion, engagement and development. Buying from FORGE helps the community and the local environment.
