This session will focus on practical equality ‘how-tos’ in recruitment particularly within areas of transgender, disability and race. It will address confidentiality and sensitivity in transgender, association with regard to disability and within race challenges around language barriers.
This event is being run in partnership by ACAS West Midlands, Wave-length CIC and Irwin Mitchell LLP as part of the Equality How-to Seminars. This particular seminar will help you understand the law in respect of equality within specific areas of recruitment and will offer practical solutions and good practice guidance. This seminar will be followed by dates yet to be announced within 2015 culminating in a conference in November 2015 which will cover Getting Equality right in employment and Getting Equalilty right in the dismissal process.
