Part of Wave-length’s the Junction Box programme
We cannot always be in life where we want to be we might be faced by real or perceived challenges but the most important way to change direction is to understand options and identify steps for change.
Meaningful occupation is something that means something to you whether this be employed work, self-employed work, work’s experience, community/voluntary work or on to training.
The one day session will be on the 22nd November 2013 at Meeting Point House, Southwater Square, Telford from 10.00-4pm.
We will however be holding a short information session on the 15th November in the morning where those booked can come along and meet Ann and ask any questions ahead of the one day session.
The one day session will bring you together with others in an informal way and engaging way, helping you to:
- Meet others considering at a Junction in life
- Understand what skills you may have already have and those you aspire to
- Identify next step options along with signposting to support/funding needed to achieve
The day is designed in an engaging way so as to encourage thinking
Attendance is free as long as you are from Telford and Wrekin and
An adult aged 19+who does not hold a full-level 2 qualification or equivalent in English and/or maths
OR an Adult 19+ who is unemployed or retired and in receipt of one of the following benefits
- Universal Credit (UC)
- Job Seekers Allowance (JSA)
- Employment Support Allowance (ESA)
- Pension Credit (PC)
- Income Support
Should you not fall into the above categories but would like to attend the fee would be £12.00 for the day
The course is funded through the NLDC – Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities – provided to Wave-length CIC through Telford and Wrekin Council
